Three days of the festival transformed Mirande into a rock temple. The apotheosis of kiosqnrock was marked by the national victory of Medusa Hendricks in Air Guitar and an audience conquered by an explosive program.
This Sunday morning, Mirande still wakes up to the rhythm of rock. For a weekend, the Kiosqnrock festival has ignited the city and has increased the temperature as much as decibels. Between rock, metal, pogos and festive atmosphere, the 2025 edition confirmed its reputation as “Hellfest du Gers” on a human scale, but with XXL energy.

The event was marked by a highlight: the national Air Guitar competition, won by Justine BETEMS, alias Medusa Hendricks. Triple Hellfest champion in Air Guitar, the performer offered a masterful show, dethroning French Kiss and winning the title of champion of France.
“It was so close to my heart this year that I put myself a big pressure. I cogitated and hesitated to do the French championship but when I got to the air camp on Thursday, with all the friends I told myself that I should not stress and that I tell myself that everything was possible,” commented the champion with modesty.
It will represent France in the world championship in Oulu, Finland, in ten days, with solid chances according to David Bonnefous and Pierre Laran, the organizers.
“We are delighted. Medusa, she is a girl we have been following for three years. She has great values, she is ultra nice, pure fan of metal and she goes well with everyone. I think she really has her card to play international, because there, they don’t know her yet,” they say.
Musical programming has also marked the spirits. Focusing this year on metal, she offered festival -goers unforgettable performances that the Gers will remember: Tribute of System of A Down, raw energy of Black Bomb A, Circle Pits, Wall of Death and Slams in series this Saturday on inflatable alligators. “Every evening, I took my slap,” says David Bonnefous.
Another success: the move of the festival on the Place d’Astarac, praised by the public and the residents. The scenic space, the lodges and the organization gave the event a new dimension. “We only had positive feedback. Some visitors even sought where to pay their entry when it was free,” smiles David and Pierre.
This year, Kiosqnrock proved that he knew how to federate all generations, of the little girl who came to see Black Bomb A to her grandmother conquered by the atmosphere. A well -balanced cocktail that already promises an even more rock’n’roll edition.
