Kurti: From today, the United States will enter Kosovo without any customs rights

The interim government has announced today the abolition of customs duties on products imported from the United States, writes Albinfo.ch.
So far, these products have been subject to a 10 %tax. Now, the acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that this tax will go to zero.
“Another very important decision that we take today is the abolition of customs duties with the United States. Now, all products from the United States will benefit from a zero customs right to enter our country. Kosovo welcomes American products on its market and we firmly believe that this decision will stimulate trade and encourage more investments,” Kurti said Kurti.
He added that this measure reflects the excellent relations between the two countries as well as the commitment of Kosovo in favor of a free trade agreement with the United States.
