La Prairie: Hard Thursday for this heavyweight driver

A heavyweight driver who forgot to lower the bucket of his truck by leaving the courtyard of a company in the meadow has certainly experienced better days. Through its fault, the entire Prairie industrial park was deprived of current Thursday afternoon.

The incident occurred a little after 2 p.m. when the trucker left the field of a transport company on the industrial street.

In all likelihood, he would have started to roll without lowering the bucket of his container truck.

What was to happen happened: the bucket torn off several electric wires and dropped two Hydro-Québec posts, one of which supported three transformers.

According to the Hydro-Québec Info-Pannes site, electricity was to be restored within 2 hours on the night of Friday. Nearly forty addresses were deprived of current.

A portion of the industrial street has been partially closed to traffic, the time to allow hydro-Québec employees to repair the damage and put the posts on foot.
