Sixty years after its foundation, the city of Laval proves us once again that it is the city of the future.
We do not know if that is one of the official celebrations aimed at highlighting the sixtieth anniversary of the merger of the fourteen municipalities having caused the city of Laval, but the fact remains that two cows took off this Sunday, creating a beautiful animation in the differently very peaceful district of Sainte-Dorothée.

According to what Geneviève Quessy of the Mail Laval, “The two new owners of the cows in question had just bought them when they got out of their truck on the avenue des Bois.”
The new owners were on their way to their home in the Quebec region when they fled.
They are therefore not familiar with this sector of the city of Laval.

Highland cows have this name because they are from the region of the same name, in Scotland. They generally have red or black hairs and long horns.
A video showing one of the caval cows has become viral in the last hours, several Internet users wrongly believing that it was a sequence created by artificial intelligence so the scene is surreal.
According to the man who published the video, the images were captured on the Champagne climb, just south of the Avenue des Bois, where the cattle shouted Lebaaarté before taking the key to the fields.
