Cors of the Alps, folk music, local craftsmen and local markets await you in the village or directly on the pasture. But it is the arrival of cows, stars of the day, which will make all the difference during the Désalpe.
The most beautiful or the most combative arrives, crowned, flowery, dressed, ringing their impressive toupins. They are led by their owners, their families, the shepherds, the cows or the armillis – according to the canton – all dressed in traditional costume and carrying their pride as a standard.
Many villages of the Alps, Pre -Alpine and even the Jura celebrate the return of men and animals after a summer with altitude patturations. Some take place without fuss, others are known far to the round. We gathered you The cream of the Cream of Disalpta.
