After stalling in June, the yield of the Swiss Pension Caisses rebounded in July, displaying a slight progression. Since the beginning of the year, the hundreds of autonomous foresight institutions passed under review by UBS have recorded a performance of 1.93%.

All asset categories have recorded a favorable development, the palm in this area returning to global shares (+2.86%), ahead of hedge funds (+1.75%), investments in unlisted companies (+1.37%), loans denominated in foreign currencies (+0.71%), Infrastructure (+0.39%), Francs (+0.36%), direct (+0.35%) and indirect (+0.22%) real estate as well as Swiss shares (+0.17%).
The new trade agreements concluded by the United States with important partners such as Vietnam, Japan and the European Union have given a positive impetus. The high profits of companies, in particular in the technological sector, also supported American actions and therefore the asset class of global actions.
On the other hand, the American economic data lower than expected in July have notably created otherwise and weighed winds on the US bond markets in July. In the coming months, UBS experts continue to rely on increased market volatility.
