The UN requires “immediately stop” the Israeli Military Control Plan of the Gaza Strip
The Israeli government’s plan for a complete military control of the occupied Gaza Strip should be immediately stopped, “the High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk said on Friday.
This plan, adopted on the night of Thursday to Friday by the Israeli security firm, “goes against the decision of the International Court of Justice according to which Israel must put an end to its occupation as soon as possible, to carry out the solution to two states and the law of the Palestinians to self -determination”, accuses Mr. Türk.
“Everything leads to thinking that this new escalation will lead to even more massive forced trips, more murders, more unbearable suffering, insane destruction and excruciating crimes,” denounces the high-commissioner, regularly accused of pro-Palestinian trends by the Israeli authorities and Non-Grata Personna in the country.
