Hello everyone
And welcome to this direct dedicated to the 8e Stage of this magnificent Tour de France 2025. After several lively days, marked by changes in yellow jersey, the sprinters will (finally) have their say on a relatively flat course, through Ille-et-Vilaine and Mayenne.
The top of this stage peaks at 119 meters above sea level. Jonathan Milan, green jersey on his shoulders and in search of a first success on the roads of the Tour, will have to justify his status as the best sprinter in the world. For this, the Italian of the Lidl-Trek will surely have to beat Tim Merlier (Sudal-Quick Step), reigning European champion, or even Biniam Girmay (Intermarché-Wanty).
The arrival in Laval will be on a 1.2 -kilometer straight line but slightly false flat (3 %). Whoever will have the best pilot fish and the coolest thighs will triumph. You will have to make sure to avoid falls, regular since the start of this 112e edition.
The start of this stage will be given at 1:25 p.m., for an arrival scheduled around 5 p.m. As since the start of the Tour, we will prepare posts to you to be unbeatable. Games, anecdotes, drawings and, perhaps Charades, could take place. So be ready because for three weeks for (and 21 stages), the runners will travel the hexagon, to determine, on the Champs-Elysées, which will endorse the yellow jersey on the final podium.
