During the first kilometers, through the Ain and Isère, the peloton should remain grouped and above all enhance the powerful runners during the intermediate sprint. The road will then rise around sixty kilometers from the finish, after entering Savoy. Pauline Ferrand-Prévot and her work colleagues will have to face three climbs, including an alpine collar, that of the Granier (8.9 kilometers at 5.4 %, 2e category), 18 kilometers from the finish.

When ? The real departure will be given at 1:40 p.m. and the winner of the day should overcome the finish line at 5.30 p.m. if it runs at an average speed of 42 kilometers/hour. We will take the antenna from 2:40 p.m., an hour before TV broadcasting.
On what chains? France 2, France 3 and Eurosport 1.
Who animates the live? Oscar Korbosli and Yanis Soul will chain the relays all day, trying to avoid cravings.
