Luxxpopo Open-AirStars and an impressive scene: Luxembourg will vibrate
Green Day’s concert this Monday kicks off six large -scale concerts, scheduled until the end of July.
“We are excited to welcome more than 60,000 people in the coming weeks,” says Michel Welter, manager of the workshop, who organizes the Luxexpo Open-Air. And this number could even reach 70,000.
Between this Monday evening and July 28, six big shows are planned outdoors: Green Day (this Monday evening), Sting (this Tuesday), Martin Garrix (this Friday), Justin Timberlake (July 8), Damso (16) and Guns N ‘Roses (28). “Over 12,000 people for Sting, you really didn’t expect it. People appreciate the format and Sting will play with its Luxembourg drummer, pride, ”he admits. “Guns n ‘roses, it was the biggest risk, but a unique opportunity. And Damso, I believe that this kind of artist completely has his place in the Luxexpo Open-Air program, “continues Michel Welter.
Highly anticipated heat
“We are in full preparations, there are always unforeseen events, but we are confident. The scene will be greater than the other years. She will be there until July 28. We will close for two weeks, with security and guarding, ”he explains.
The hot weather has been anticipated: “We have integrated points where people will have free access to drinking water”. Fluidity was already a strong point in the past, the rate remains at a tram every 2’30.
“We do not regret having made this path at all and I think we are not going to abandon it in the future,” concludes Michel Welter.
