A human body was discovered Friday afternoon in an arm of the Senne, not far from the industrial boulevard in Anderlecht, the Brussels firefighters said.
“We were called around 5:00 p.m. by the police,” said firefighters Walter Derieuw. “A floating mortal body had been reported. The body had to be in the water for a long time. We have touched anything while waiting for an expert to come on the spot. »»
The police, a legal expert and a public prosecutor’s representative went to the scene to carry out legal duties.
Contacted in the evening, the Brussels prosecutor’s office says he has nothing to indicate for the moment: “We will communicate as soon as we have more elements”.
