Matt Milton takes over as president of Microsoft Canada

Today, Microsoft has announced a change of management that reflects the continuous commitment to help Canadian customers and partners to make the most of the transition to AI platforms. This strategic change will see Matt Milton assume the role of president of Microsoft Canada.

Matt brings this role a vast experience and a distinguished course in the technology sector. Having previously held several high -management positions at Kyndryl and IBM, he spent more than 20 years to lead billionaire global companies and to help some of the world’s most emblematic companies to create differentiated value thanks to technology. Its in-depth understanding of the dynamics of the North American market, in particular to manage economic changes, regulatory environments and customer transformation, combined with its commitment to innovation and AI, gives it a unique position to accelerate the technological ecosystem in Canada.

As a new president of Microsoft Canada and Canadian proud, Matt not only brings in -depth expertise, but also an obvious passion for Canada, its people, its potential and its future. Matt will strive to accelerate Canada leadership in the digital economy and ensure that Microsoft continues to play a leading role as a trusted partner for Canadian companies and communities from one ocean to another. The presence of Microsoft in Canada is more than 40 years old, with nearly 5,300 employees in 11 offices in 7 cities.

The Microsoft Research laboratory located in Montreal brings together researchers in the fields of automatic learning, strengthening and Fate learning, in order to advance deep learning that has a positive impact on society.
