The mayor of Quebec, Bruno Marchand, accuses Sam Hamad of having tried in the last days of debacching some of the candidates announced by Quebec Forter and proud for the next municipal election.
“It’s hard for teams to recruit. Mr. Hamad seeks to recruit in my candidates. He approached my candidates to recruit them. This is not a sign that it is going so well that, ”said Mr. Marchand in a press scrum.
However, he did not want to appoint candidates or districts who would have been the target of approaches on the part of Sam Hamad and his party, Leadership Québec.
Asked about the recent merger between Quebec Priority Team and Mr. Hamad’s team, Bruno Marchand maintains that it was a “polichinelle secret”.
