The organizers thus expect the arrival of more than 1,000 bikers (compared to 800 usually) from the four corners of Europe: Portugal, England, Italy, Czeching … “Our club is well known in the world because we move a lot. We make concentrations, fifteen the year, everywhere … We put the tent on the motorcycle and we leave for two or three days.”
A tribute to the striking figures of the club
They are around thirty in the club, including a woman, to ride with any type of bike. “”Harley-Davidson, Japanese, roads, trails. Everyone is welcome. Most members come from the region, within a 20 km department, but others put a good hour to come to our meetings, once a month. “
This year, this reunion between clubs will also be an opportunity to pay tribute to the striking figures of the Jet’s on Saturday. “The club was created in 1975 by three friends who worked on their motorcycle together and liked to ride: Alain Straet, Marcel Enstiep and Marc Reip. There were up to 7-80 members in the 1980s. There were even the jets and the Little Jet’s who rolled in 50 cm3”, Traces this enthusiast, who himself joined the club twenty years ago, when he was 21 years old.
“I met the jet’s at an event in Eupen. I did not know them, but my parents well. At the time when they arrived in the balls with their skin to cook, the motorcycles, the chains, … We said attention here are the jet’s … It was impressive.
