The G86 Power motorcycle was launched in the United Kingdom and Europe in May. It will now land in India, but with characteristics different from those of the European version.

Motorola announced that the G86 Power motorcycle will be launched in India in a few days. The smartphone made its debut in Europe alongside the Moto G86 (read our test) at the end of May. However, the version launched in India will have some different specifications.

The G86 Power motorcycle for India will have the same design as the version sold in Europe. According to the Product page and the Flipkart promotional page, the phone will have a 6.7 -inch super HD AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K, a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits and Gorilla Glass 7i glass protection.

It will also benefit from a double index of resistance to dust and water IP68 and IP69, as well as military level MIL-810H. The G86 Power motorcycle will be available for purchase in three Pantone – Cypress (olive green), Spellbound (dark blue) and Cosmic Sky (lavender). The European version is available in four colors, including the chrysanthemum (red).

In addition to the fact that the G86 Power motorcycle is offered in fewer colors in India, Motorola has also changed the processor. The Indian version will be equipped with a Mediatek Dimensity 7400qui processor processor replaces the Dimensity 7300 processor from the European version. The RAM will remain the same, namely 8 GB, but while European models will benefit from a storage space of 512 GB as standard, the model sold in India will have a storage space of 128 GB or 256 GB.

Fortunately, the camera configuration has not changed. He will therefore have a Sony Lytia 600-50mp sensor with Ois as the main rear camera and an 8MP ultra-large angle camera as a secondary camera. The 32 megapixel front camera, which can record in 4K like the two rear cameras, is inside a hole in the screen.

If battery capacity is sometimes a distinctive element of the regional variants of the same phone, this is not the case here. Like the European version, the G86 Power motorcycle launched in India will have a huge battery capacity of 6,720 mAh, and it will be delivered with a 33W turbopower charger.

Other confirmed features are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio certification, Motorola Smart Connect, and Hello UI based on Android 15. It has also been revealed that the phone will receive a single update of the operating system and three years of security updates.

The Motorola G86 Power will be launched in India on July 30 at noon. There is no information on the price, but it should be cheaper than the European version which costs € 329 (~ inr 33.186). The standard G86 motorcycle (available on Amazon.de for € 293.41) is not available in the country.
