But the opposition strongly denounced the heading taken by the executive. Margot Antoine (PTB) denounced “an absence of structural social measures”, an increased appeal to public-private partnerships and revenues drawn “always more on the back of households”. “This is the assumed gentrification of our town,” she said.
The budget presented provides 244 million euros in ordinary spending for 2025, without tax increase. A three -year plan of 51 million euros in investments will notably accompany the creation of a crèche, a gym, and the energy renovation of public buildings.
