The cherry season is launched and it presents itself well. The cultivators count on a large harvest, indicates Swiss fruit-union.
The harvest is currently in full swing, notes the interprofessional organization on Wednesday. Between 400 and 500 tonnes of cherries are picked each week during the harvest period. The cherries took advantage of the many hours of sun in May and June to become “crunchy and sweet”, underlines in a press release Bruno Eschmann, president of the Swiss Cherises products center.
Core berries have been produced since this season in accordance with the standards of the national sewing sectoral program. These directives allow producers to choose measures in catalog to reach a number of points. The cultivation of nucleus fruits thus becomes even more durable, estimates the organization.
