The story between Daniel Pérez and Belgium is now over. It’s official, the Venezuelan striker leaves the Bruges club to try an adventure in Cyprus. The formalization fell this Tuesday.
The Venezuelan striker Daniel Pérez leaves the Bruges club to continue his career at the Nea Salamis Famagusta FC, in Cyprus. There has been signed a season contract with an option for an additional year.
Pérez had arrived in 2021 from Metropolitanos FC. In total, he played 11 games with the first team and 36 games with the NXT club (U23).
His very first goal with the Blauw in Zwart, he scored it in 2021 in Challenger Pro League against Union Saint-Gilloise. A month later, he scored his first goal in Pro League against the Gantoise.

Last season, the striker still displayed great ambitions and wanted to relaunch his career in Lokeren-Temse, but his adventure in Belgium is now coming to an end. Arrived with great references, however, he never managed to truly win.
