One of the most wanted criminals in Canada, Jonathan Ouelle-Gendron, was arrested at Montreal-Trudeau airport on Saturday afternoon, confirmed the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).

The 36 -year -old man faced several Pancanadian arrest mandates by the Saskatoon police service in connection with murder accusation, drug trafficking and other firearms.
The police officers of the Airport Unit of the SQ, the Division of Major Mascouche Crime Investigations and the Canada Border Services Agency collaborated in the arrest of the fugitive.
Jonathan Ouel-Gendron was wanted for the murder of Brandon Baxandall in Saskatoon in May 2022.
Recall that several shots had been fired in a residential area in Saskatchewan, causing the death of Mr. Baxandall. Two other men were injured.
Another suspect, Mohamed Abdula Ali, had been arrested by the authorities a few days after the event.
A reward of $ 50,000 was offered to a population in order to find Mr. Ouel-Gendron.
