Swiss winegrowers need us
The cup is full for the winemakers in our regions, which revolt. We can help them.

If they transform the earth into a precious liquid, the Swiss winegrowers do not roll on gold. Far from it.
Many of them struggle to sell their stock, on a market flooded by foreign wines. The cut is full. Some 200 winegrowers launched a revolt movement a few days ago. And it’s probably just the start.
You have to see their living conditions. Among the Gaillard father and son, whom we met, the holidays, we do not know. Clément, the son, tells us about the low profitability of their activity, crises, administrative heaviness. But also passion, optimism, the beauty of their profession.
So they manage. They bet on wine tourism and direct sale to hold, taking advantage of the reputation of the washing where they are installed. They have not believed in the great promises of political leaders for a long time, and they are ready to fight to make them react.
Clément and Jean-René are Vaudois, but the situation is the same for hundreds of Pros Valais, Genevan or Neuchâtel.
The solution is collective, but also individual. Even if it means buying wine, so let’s buy it in our regions. Swiss wines have never been of so good quality, and they are not so much more expensive than foreign wines – except the stake that it is better to avoid.
Yes, a quality wine makes you travel. But there is certainly no need to go and get it at the end of the world to take off.
