“Our job is suffering”: why these physiotherapists from Relecq-Kerhuon and Guipavas are on strike this Tuesday

This Tuesday, July 1, 2025, certain physiotherapy firms in Relecq-Kerhuon and Guipavas are closed, due to a day of national mobilization. On strike, health professionals are asking for respect for the commitments made. “Two years ago, negotiations with the government had taken place: we had to have a first increase, which we had, then several smoothed over four years. The second had to intervene today and, a few days ago, we were warned by email by social security that we would not have it, “said the physiotherapists who did not go to Paris for the rally but who had decided to come together at the rear of a cabinet in Relecq-Kerhuon to express their dissatisfaction.

They add: “Our job is suffering. Many standards and obligations are imposed on us. We have very high rhythms: between time with our patients, journeys towards homes and health establishments, administrative tasks, maintenance of our equipment, we all do on average weeks from 55 to 60 hours of work ”.
