The 28th edition of the Giron des Jeunesses Veveysannes has been taking place in Prayoud since Wednesday. More than 22,000 people have already made the trip and the party is still continuing this Sunday.
Under the theme of board games, La Plaine de Prayoud turned into a life -size set. Monopoly, Jass, Cluedo or Loup-Garou have inspired decorations, tanks and costumes. Friday, the elder meal brought together 350 guests, while Michael Jones, co-compositer of Jean-Jacques Goldman, ignited the scene on Thursday evening.
On the sport side, the spectators were able to encourage the participants in the challenge launched by the Friborg skier Alexis Monnery, with a breathtaking view from the terrace of the wine bar.
The president of the organization, Steve Grumser, says he is satisfied: “The land, located in a valley, offered perfect visibility. The feedback is excellent ”. Some festival -goers even compared the atmosphere to that of the Paléo.
The prize ceremony will take place this Sunday at 5.30 p.m. Sunday. The next edition will be held in Porsel, from August 20 to 23, 2026, on the theme of the Seven Wonders of the World.
