P. Diddy falls on his knees during reading his verdict

P. Diddy, his real name Sean Combs, fell on his knees in a hearing room in Manhattan when the verdict of his trial was read.

The 55 -year -old rapper was found guilty of two charges of transportation for prostitution purposes, accusations each liable to a maximum sentence of 10 years, but not a mandatory minimum sentence.

At the end of a seven -week trial, the jury acquitted him from the most serious charges, namely racketeering and two charges of sex trafficking.

The only racketeering chief of accusation was punishable by a perpetuity imprisonment.

P.DIDDY was arrested in September 2024 and has been in detention since, several requests for release under deposit having been rejected. His legal team pleaded for his release before his sentence was read.

P. Diddy and his family celebrated the artist’s partial acquittal and the prosecutors should oppose the liberation on bail, invoking legal grounds that detention is compulsory after a conviction for such federal counts.

Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani, president of the West Coast Trial Lawyers association, spoke with The Us Sun following this decision.

He said: “Today’s verdict is nothing less than a complete and total failure of the accusation in what will remain as the most expensive prostitution trial in the history of the United States. Even if the Mann Act provides for a maximum sentence of 10 years, Diddy will be sentenced to a firm prison or almost. The range of his sentence could be 15 to 21 months.”
