Meeting with Anne-Sophie Thilo, project manager Vaud Generations Champions.
Anne-Sophie Thilo, project manager Vaud Generations Champions.
DRYou are the manager of this project. What is the objective of your association?
The Vaud Generations Champions association was created by 5 Olympians and to connect the Vaudois champions and champions of yesterday and today with the local population. By creating this link, we want our athletes to feel supported, but especially that the Vaudois and Vaudois know them and feel inspired by the values of sport: friendship, taste of effort, surpassing oneself, dreams.
Can you tell us why your association joined the Sport & Taste Charter, created by the Foundation of Taste?
Because our approach is global. We want to inspire people in a healthy and active lifestyle in order to feel good in their bodies and their heads. A balanced diet is essential. No need to be flawless, but with small gestures, we can make a real difference.
You have been an international sportswoman. What do you think is the importance of healthy nutrition?
To be efficient, in sport and daily, it’s all about balance. We must constantly adjust the elements that influence our well-being: physical activity, family moments, professional activity, body and mind care. Eating well, hydrating and sleeping remain essential. The idea is not to be perfect (the chips and the fondue have their place!), But to make conscious little efforts: eating fresh, unprocessed, local and seasonal.
