A journey to the rhythm of taste through the big sites of taste

Switzerland is also discovered at the fork. Since 2019, the major taste sites have been inviting to explore the country differently, by its culinary heritage. Carried by the Foundation for the Promotion of Taste, this initiative highlights the emblematic products of the regions through authentic experiences, far from mass tourism.

It is a real route of taste. Each destination invites you to discover a region through its producers, artisans and specialties. Typical cheeses, wines or agricultural products: the majority of specialties put in the spotlight belong to the Swiss culinary heritage, guarantee of a strong local and historical anchoring.

The offer, thought for Swiss tourists as foreigners, is based on close collaboration with local tourism offices. Oenotourism and gastronomic experiences are offered, often in connection with events or guided tours. Switzerland Tourism supports the project by valuing Switzerland as a gourmet destination.

What if you take advantage of this summer to meet Swiss flavors? Take the time to taste, meet, discover … to the rhythm of the terroir.
