Version 5.46 of the Philips hue https://apple.com/us/app/philips-hue/id1055281310 has arrived. The previous update, version 5.45.1 is arrived at the end of June 2025. It provides the management of several new products, such as the wall lamp the Hue Play wall light (currently $ 219.99 at Amazon), and an optimization of the integration of Amazon Alexa for houses equipped with several Hue Bridges.
According to the Journal of modifications to version 5.46 of the Philips Hue application, this update does not contain any new feature. The version notes indicate that there are “various bug corrections and improvements in stability”. Unfortunately, the company has not provided additional details. It is therefore difficult to know how users will benefit from this last update.
However, an update is provided for British users. As we announced a few weeks ago the new Philips Hue AI assistant is currently deployed for users in this country. It was first distributed to users of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg in early June 2025, and will be available for all users worldwide by the end of August. Version 5.46 of the Philips Hue application is already available for download from the Apple App Store website and should arrive on the Google Play Store website in the near future.
