Quality of life: Geneva has lost places
Because of an overall cost of very high life, the city of Calvin has lost places. Just like Zurich, which is no longer the best city in the world in terms of quality of life.

Best Net Salaries in Geneva
However, the City of Calvin and the Swiss economic capital beat all the other cities in the ranking in terms of best net salary, with or without deduction of rent. They are followed by three American cities.
For real estate purchase, Zurich and Geneva are still in the top 5 of the most expensive cities, surrounded by Hong Kong, Singapore and Seoul. For the rental, the two Swiss cities are out of the top 5, but not far, in sixth and eighth positions.
However, the drop in quality of life in Geneva is to be put into perspective. In the ranking which takes into account both the quality of life and the net salary, Geneva is fourth and Zurich sixth.
