Rem | Cable fire at the northern exit of the tunnel under Mount Royal

A minor fire required the intervention of firefighters on Tuesday, nearly one end of the REM tunnel under Mount Royal. The network is currently the subject of tests for an opening this fall.

The entire REM network is currently on a break for six weeks to allow technical teams to operate the junction between the Montreal-Brossard section and the rest of the network (with the exception of the branch which must reach Montreal-Trudeau airport).
