The Canara station is located at the northern exit of the tunnel under Mont Royal, on the territory of the city of Mont-Royal.

The entire REM network is currently on a break for six weeks to allow technical teams to operate the junction between the Montreal-Brossard section and the rest of the network (with the exception of the branch which must reach Montreal-Trudeau airport).
