After the sweetness of this start of the week, the heat and humidity are starting their return to southern Quebec, where feelings of 40 are anticipated by Thursday.
This heat dome could, however, cause showers with even a risk of thunderstorms in sectors in the north and eastern province, according to environmental forecasts.
Otherwise, the weather will generally be sunny for this Wednesday in the south of the province and in East-du-Québec, while Mercury will reach 27 degrees Celsius in Montreal.
The same scenario is expected in the center of the province, nevertheless with the presence of a dense stormy coverage in Saguenay, where it will make 25 degrees Celsius.
But it is during the day of Thursday that the heat will have its effect, while the federal agency anticipates temperatures of 33 degrees Celsius and wet values of 40 in Montreal.
Mercury will also fly over 30 degrees in the center of the province, especially in Quebec and Estrie, under a generally sunny sky, according to the Federal Agency.
In East-du-Québec as well as in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, showers are expected with a risk of thunderstorm under cooler temperatures that can fall to 18 degrees Celsius.
