Samsung confirms a launch in 2025 for these two large products

The second act of this offensive will be played in the virtual world. The extended reality headset (XR), known by the code name “Project Moohan”, is the culmination of a strategic weight alliance between Samsung, Google and Qualcomm. Far from being a simple product, it represents a hardware and software platform designed to storm the emerging market of space computing and to face the Apple Vision Pro. He will run on Android XR, an operating system built for the occasion by Google, and will be powered by a latest generation snapdragon chip.

Samsung’s strategy is clear here: let Apple wipe the plaster and then offer a carefully thought out alternative. The Galaxy XR helmet intends to be more than a simple technical competitor, aimed at surpassing its rival, in particular thanks to a depth integration of Gemini’s artificial intelligence from Google at the heart of the experience. With an outing set more than a year after that of its competitor, Samsung offers time to analyze the market to potentially offer a more successful device and, above all, better positioned on the price plan.
