Samsung shakes up its range of headphones by jumping a generation: no Galaxy Buds 2 Fe, but directly from the Galaxy Buds 3 Fe. These new models, expected in early September, adopt a design close to the AirPods Pro and promise a richer sound, better noise reduction and the integration of functions related to Gemini, all at low prices.
Samsung Don’t wait. Rather than launching Galaxy Buds 2 FE – which would be logical after the first generation of Galaxy Buds FE in 2023 – the manufacturer prefers to pass directly to Galaxy Buds 3 FE. A choice probably dictated by the desire to create a range effect with the Galaxy Buds 3 released last summer.
Gemini in the ears
The new FE headers are also taking over the design of their cousins. Exit the “bean” design, that of the Galaxy Buds 3 FE recalls that of the AirPods Pro with a rod. Samsung assures that this makes them more comfortable; But this is not the only novelty of these models. They also integrate larger speakers with deeper bass and clearer sound, the group announces. Which adds better audio at 360 degrees.
Active noise cancellation also improves to reduce ambient noises when listening to music and phone calls. Of course, we keep the equalization arsenal to choose according to its preferences. And Samsung does not obviously forget his fans of the moment: headphones can use Gemini for all kinds of tasks.
In terms of autonomy, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE are supposed to hold the shock for 6 hours on a load with the activated ANC (8 and a half hours without the ANC). No wireless recharge, only in USB-C. Using the transport charger, you will hold 24 to 30 hours. The headphones are IP54 certified for water and dust resistance.
The launch of the Galaxy Buds 3 FE is scheduled for September 4 at a price of $ 149.99.
