After The Lake Geneva Arc This start of the week, it is the turn of the Jura arc to know the joys of the disturbances of rail traffic this Thursday morning. Since about 7:20 am, trains cannot circulate between Grandson and Gorgier on the line connecting Yverdon-les Bains to Neuchâtel.
The reason: “a vine net placed on the contact line”, report the SBB to their website. Delays and deletions are expected. The IC5, IR, IR57 and R13 lines are affected.
This situation should last at least until 9:00 am. “Travelers between Yverdon-les-Bains and Gorgier-St-Aubin borrow the buses on line 630”, specifies the ex-Federal Regie. Replacement buses are also set up between Neuchâtel and Yverdon-les-Bains.
While waiting for the situation to recover, the passengers and passengers in the direction of Zurich and Saint-Gall from the Lake Geneva Arc must go through Friborg to take the bus in the direction of Bern, before going up in the Intercity for Zurich. To make sure, the CFF line between Friborg and Bern has been interrupted for several weeks due to work.
