The Vallorbe Iron Museum celebrates its 45th anniversary and opens the doors to your universe. For the occasion, the museum organizes an original day full of life: the Scrap fairan outdoor event dedicated to the art of metal in all its forms.
When recovery becomes creation
Nothing is lost: we transform, we weld, we assemble, we reinvent. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., the museum court will welcome:

Iron in action
The highlight of the day? Demonstrations exclusive to the Forge, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. In partnership with training Masters secrets In Sainte-Croix art mechanics, you will be able to see blacksmiths and founders in full action, in the historic forge of the museum.
And above all, the presentation of an exceptional play: a work specially designed for the museum, combining traditional techniques and contemporary design, imagined and shaped by the trainers of Masters secrets. A beautiful tribute to the transmission of know-how and inventiveness of today’s craftsmen.
