Geneva public transport (TPG) announces changes on their network from August 18. Several modifications, linked to construction sites, will concern the tram lines at the start of the school year.

Line 12 will circulate again between the stops of Lancy-Bachet and Blanche, after the work carried out by the TPG in the town of Carouge, said the Autonomous Public Régie on Thursday. A replacement bus service will continue to be provided between the white and comprehensive stops, the return to normal being scheduled for December 6, the date of the climbing race.

Anticipatory measures linked to the work of extension of the tram between Nations and Ferney (F) will have an impact on line 15, whose terminus will be moved to the Collège Sismondi stop. The bus lines passing through the Nations district will also be affected in certain places.

Back to school will also be marked by the commissioning of line 97, a provisional service intended to ensure the connection between the Grandes Essert district and the Bout-du-Monde, before the extension of line 7 in December. This line will offer correspondence to reach the city center of Geneva, in particular.
