A 34 -year -old physical education teacher from East Brughton faces several accusations of sexual crimes that would have been committed on a minor.
Keven Mathieu was arrested Wednesday by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), before appearing Thursday morning at the Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce courthouse.
He has been accused of sexual contact and incitement to sexual contact on a teenager when he was in a situation of authority, sexual assault and lure of a person under the age of 18.
The reproach gestures would have been committed between 2016 and 2017 in Beauceville. According to our information, Keven Mathieu is a physical education teacher at the Jesus-Marie de Beauceville school.
The 34 -year -old man was then released with strict conditions to protect the victim and the public, pending the continuation of legal proceedings.
“The investigation tends to dismantle that he could have made other victims,” said the SQ in a press release.
