“On the Grand-Est, orange vigilance ‘Thunderstorms’ can be extended to the departments bordering the Orange departments during the next broadcasts,” said the agency in its latest bulletin.
An extension of possible orange vigilance
The thunderstorms will evacuate “towards the Bénélux and Germany at the end of the afternoon at the latest but may be followed by showers and other thunderstorms”. The risk of thunderstorms is not excluded on the center-east of the country.
Thunderstorms develop “on the Massif Central and quickly shift north of the Rhône-Alpes region” and in the evening and in the night from Sunday to Monday, “important cumulative rain is possible in a short time of the Ardèche in knowledge,” said Météo-France.
The meteorological service calls for “informed” of the developments in the situation, which “can lead to an extension of orange vigilance”.
