(Montreal) Six people were injured on Saturday following a collision involving a car and motorcycles which occurred in Saint-Frédéric, in the Beauce-Center MRC. Two of these people are in critical condition.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) indicates that emergency services were called upon to go to Route 112, near the Saint-Antoine rank, around 9:30 a.m. concerning a collision possibly involving three motorcycles and a vehicle.
“It is a vehicle with two people on board that was traveling in the eastern direction and which would have collided with the motorcycles which circulated in opposite direction,” said Laurie Avoine, spokesperson for the SQ.
The police force did not specify whether the people in critical condition were aboard a motorcycle or the car.
An investigator and reconstructionists in collision scenes of the SQ will go there to shed light on the circumstances of this event.
The road was closed to traffic in the sector for an indefinite period on Saturday noon.
