In the wake of the phenomenal success of Labu figurines, influencers and Internet users unpack them in front of the camera and disseminate them at home as decoration. In Switzerland, we buy them online or in stores.
In the Vaudoise capital, 400 meters from Animathop, there are four boxes of Smiski, sold 25 francs each, at the bottom of the Paulus store. “Switzerland is always a little slower in fashion,” says the brand. With us, the trend started 2 or 3 months ago. Currently, sales level, it works very well, but it is not comparable to the Labu phenomenon which, suddenly, has taken off like a rocket. Smiski, it is rather a diesel engine in full climb. ”
Craze in Zurich
Success was also found in German -speaking Switzerland. “We are regularly out of stock. We order it again, but they leave like hotcakes. At first, children and teenagers constituted most of the customers. Now, young adults also succumb, ”said the Nook store in Zurich.
