Sony should soon draw a new wireless helmet for its PS5, but not that

On the occasion of Gamescom 2025, Sony should announce a new premium wireless helmet dedicated to its PlayStation 5: Inzone H9 II. A leak informs us in detail about the latter.

Introduced at the end of the COVID period, the Inzone brand allows Sony to market many accessories and peripherals linked to the gaming world. After the Inzone M10S and M9 monitors, the Inzone Buds headphones, and the Inzone H5, H7 and H9 helmets (which inaugurated at the end of 2022 the active noise reduction in this range), Sony seems to reiterate with a new version of its Inzone H9, precisely.

Upstream of Gamescom, which will open its doors this August 20 in Cologne, a signed leakage Dealabs Magazine Allows us to meet, a few hours in advance, the new Inzone H9 II.

This new Wireless Helmet with Active Noise Reduction should take over from the Inzone H9 from theOpening Night Live that Sony will hold this August 19.

A new high -end gaming helmet soon at Sony

This new circum-ear helmet would position itself, anywhere on the high-end of the brand, notably by taking up some of the specifications of a certain Sony WH-1000XM6, one of the very best helmets on the market at this stage. The two models would indeed share the same speakers, which augurs for a particularly pleasant quality of sound for the Inzone H9 II.

Always on the specs side, this new H9 II would benefit from a much lighter structure than that of its predecessor, thus going from a total weight of 330 grams to 260 grams (273 grams with the connected microphone), according to Dealabs Magazine. In return, the battery would be slightly smaller, lowering the maximum autonomy to 30 hours “only”. The helmet, however, would have rapid load technology to recover 1 hour of autonomy (in play) after 5 minutes of load.

This new Sony Inzone H9 II would have for the rest of a microphone with noise reduction by AI (detachable), a 3.5 mm jack wired connection and compatibility with the Bluetooth standard the audio. The set would finally be rechargeable in USB-C.

Marketing side, Dealabs Makes a kick -off from the start of the school year (understand very early September), after a pre -order phase that would start this week. This new helmet would finally be displayed at 349.99 euros in France, an increase of 50 euros in the price compared to the Inzone H9, generally less well equipped.
