The prices of ownership housing have hardly changed in July compared to June, according to the periodic Immoscout24. Only the regions of Zurich and Northwest Switzerland have recorded a significant price increase.
In July, the prices of individual houses remained stable, while those of the condominium apartments increased only by 0.1% on average, according to the purchase index of the Immoscout24 real estate platform published Thursday, noted in collaboration with the CIFI real estate consultancy.
The number of houses and apartments for sale has however increased compared to the previous month, noted the press release. However, in the longer term, the offer remained lower than the average.
On the regional individual houses market, the Zurich region was the only one to record a significant price increase of 1.2%. On the other hand, the costs have hardly increased in Ticino (+0.2%), in northwest Switzerland (+0.1%) and in the Lake Geneva region (+0.1%). Lower decreases were notably observed in eastern Switzerland (-0.9%), central Switzerland (-0.3%) and Mittelland (-0.3%).
On the other hand, the differences are more marked on the regional market for condominium apartments: in Switzerland in the North West, the prices offered increased significantly in July, with an increase of 2.3%. In addition, only Ticino recorded an increase of 0.5%.
Apartments prices are stable in Mittelland (+0.1%) and Eastern Switzerland (0.0%). In central Switzerland (-1.1%), in the Grand Zurich (-0.3%) and in the Lake Geneva region (-0.4%), condominium apartments are slightly cheaper.
