Sunbolt unveils a kit (battery + solar panels) for garden sheds and pergola

Energy sobriety, ecological transition, energy savings, these expressions, have been at the center of all debates for a few years! For what ? Well, because the prices of fossil fuels climb constantly, and because we have [enfin] consciousness thatSave on energy is to make a gesture for the planet. In this area, the Sunbolt brand is doing well, with the launch of the Backyard LV3 solar kit, a ultra-complete Plug & Play solution to produce its own electricity independently. Sold at € 1,249 (or $ 1,349 on the Sunbolt official website), the Backyoyer LV3 solar kit promises to be a solution for the future. Indeed, without any complex connection, without connecting to the network, it can supply up to 400 W of electrical devices, from the simple mini-frigo smartphone, to a fan or a medical device. At a time when each kilowatt saved counts, this is an interesting solution that I present to you immediately. Let’s go.

A solar power plant in a ready -to -use box

When I discovered the backyarder LV3, I first thought it was a simple kit of solar panels to screw yourself on a garden shed. In reality, it’s much more than that. This pre-assembled kit from Sunbolt includes two Renogy monocrystalline solar panels of 50 W each, a 400 W “pure sine wave” inverter, two Li Fepo₄ 12 V batteries, an MPPT load regulator. The whole is integrated into a unique case with USB, USB-C and 120 V GFCI sockets. And, on the design side, it’s clean, compact, and rather elegant. But, above all, the LV3 was Designed for users who don’t want to bother with connections. No need to dig trenches, set up an electric wardrobe or learn to speak kilowatt hours. We take out the cardboard kit, we connect, and it works. In camping, in an isolated chalet, or even at the bottom of the garden to supply a light arbor, everything becomes possible.

Concrete uses for daily needs

The promise is clear: feeding the devices up to 400 W of cumulative power. Concretely, the kit allows:

  • To recharge a smartphone (5 W) for 110 hours
  • To feed an LED lamp (10 W) for 55 hours
  • To run a portable fan (30 W) for 18 hours
  • To use a laptop (50 W) for 11 hours
  • Keep a mini-frigo (100 W) for 5:30 a.m.
  • To supply a CPAP (machine for sleep apnea) or an oxygen concentrator (120 W) for about 13 hours

And, all in silence, without fuel, odorless and with A real gain in autonomy. This kit is even recommended for “Add electricity to a shelter without digging trenches”. A real solution outside the networks in short.
