Super Mario Strikers: The surfaced sporting action arrives on Nintendo Gamecube – The Nintendo classics arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on July 3

Super Mario Strikers will be available from July 3 in the Nintendo Gamecube – Nintendo Classics library, accessible to all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers + Additional Pack on the Nintendo Switch 2 console. First opus in the Mario Strikers series, this extreme football game is initially released on Nintendo Gamecube in 2005.

In Super Mario Strikers, all blows are allowed. Choose your captain from the emblematic figures of the mushroom kingdom such as Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Wario or Waluigi and plunge into a multitude of modes, including Grudge Match, Cup Battles and Custom Battles. On this field, the matches take place at a dazzling speed and with a rare intensity. Without referees to distribute sanctions, only the electrified fence that surrounds the land limits chaos!

Add to that familiar objects such as shells and mushrooms to spice up the action and take the advantage during meetings. But the real key to victory remains the super strike: a powerful shot capable of scoring two goals at once! Master different techniques, assert big tackles and even free the chomp on the field to try to score – and crush the opponent.

Thanks to simple orders, everyone can get into competition, whether in solo or local and online multiplayer up to four players. In addition, players can find the sensations of yesteryear thanks to a controller inspired by the original design of the GameCube, specially designed for the Nintendo Switch 2.
