And the admirers were treated to another major surprise: a duo with Sabrina Carpenter appears on the eponymous title.
The announcement was made on Wednesday on the broom New Heightsled by the football player and singer’s companion, Travis Kelce.
The cover, then shared on social networks, shows Taylor Swift in a sparkling green dress, immersed in an aquatic setting with an orange brilliant lettering.
A flamboyant aesthetic contrasts with the more refined style of his latest albums.
The collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter already arouses the enthusiasm of the admirers of the two artists. The singers had already shared the scene during the tour Erasnotably offering New Orleans a mixture of explosive songs mixing Espresso, Is It Over Now? et Please Please Please.
Produced in particular by Max Martin and Shellback, The Life of a Showgirl will mark an assumed turn to brilliant pop.
