The Temenos banking software publisher recorded a net growth in the second quarter of 2025, having been able to conclude some major contracts as well as those delayed in the first quarter.

(Keystone-ATS) For the entire exercise, management reviews its goals up. Between April and the end of June, the Geneva group’s revenues settled at 277.6 million dollars (220.2 million in francs during the day), an increase of 16% at constant exchange rates (TCC) compared to the same period a year earlier, said Temenos in a statement published Tuesday after the stock market closure.

Software income contributed 124.5 million (+24%) to this performance, maintenance at 120 million (+10%) and those of services at 32.8 million (+6%).

The result before interest and taxes (EBIT) took place from 28% in annual shift to $ 111.6 million and the related margin gained 4 percentage points at 40.2%, against 36.4% in 2024. The profit per share (BPA), a highly anticipated market indicator, gained 36% to 1.22 dollars.

These results go far beyond the expectations of the AWP consensus, whose analysts interviewed tapped on average on a turnover of 253.0 million, an EBIT at 82.9 million and a related margin of 32.9%.

“I am satisfied with our performance in the second quarter, which more than compensated for the slowdown of the beginning of the year. We have benefited from a stable commercial environment and a good execution, in particular in Europe and in the Americas, “said group general manager Jean-Pierre Brulard.

Whoever has been in this position since May 2024, added that the company had been able to conclude some major contracts, in addition to catching all the delayed contracts in the first quarter.

For 2025, the management enhances its objectives made at the end of April, namely an operating profit (EBIT) of at least 9%, against 5%before and an increase in BPA from 10 to 12%, against 7 to 9%. For income from software licenses (subscriptions and SaaS), a thrust of at least 6% is anticipated, while it was expected between 5 to 7% this spring.
