Tesla’s Robotaxi rings and overthrows a “child”, a deadly bug still not corrected

A bug still not corrected from Robotaxi Tesla?

Tesla’s autonomous vehicle found itself in front of a school bus stopped and, without trying to slow down, the model rushed on it. When a child’s mannequin suddenly crossed the road, the car struck him hard before continuing to ride until stopping.

“This shows that completely autonomous Tesla will not stop in front of a bus, and if a child comes out, she mow it”explains Dan O’Dowd to Futurism. Dawn Project reports this problem for years until you pay a page in the New York Times And an advertisement during the Super Bowl, but nothing to do: Tesla remains silent.

Tesla’s inaction already has consequences. In Northern Carolina, a student was struck by an autonomous vehicle when leaving a school bus and was helicoptered to hospital with serious injuries. “What has happened since then? Tesla hasn’t corrected the bug”says Dan O’Dowd. “And the government has still not forced a reminder.”

Asked about other companies that offer autonomous vehicles, Dan O’Dowd estimates that “Waymo does the job”. Recently, however, a cyclist turned against society after an accident.

“They can really make ten million trips without killing anyone”he notes. “Tesla cannot make any autonomous conduct and killed a lot of people. So my question is: how many people have killed? How much did they injure?”

The figures speak for themselves: Waymo has been involved in 696 accidents since 2021 with a death. For Tesla, it’s 2,146 accidents and 553 deaths due to the autonomous driving of its vehicles.

Dan O’Dowd therefore wishes to continue to invest resources to raise awareness of the dangers posed by Elon Musk technology.

“I never wanted to bet against Tesla on the stock market”says the billionaire. “It’s too risky. [Elon Musk] is too good to invent stories that convince people he can earn a lot of money. “ Good atmosphere.
