The renowned temple announced its new members who will officially enter in 2025.
After Danièle Sauvageau in the buildings aspect, the temple opens its doors to the following players: Zdeno Chara, Joe Thornton, Duncan Keith, Alexander Mogilny, Jennifer Botterill and Brianna Decker. Note that in his first year of eligibility, the former Canadian goalkeeper, Carey Price, was not retained by the selection committee. Jack Parker also entered the temple as a builder.
The group will be officially inducted in November.
Zdeno Chara

At the top of his six new feet, Zdeno Chara was the largest player in the NHL history and led the Boston Bruins to the Stanley Cup victory in 2011, ending 39 years of scarcity.
Recovered by the New York Icelanders in 1996, Chara played 24 seasons in the NHL, scoring 209 goals and 680 points in 1,680 games, divided between the Islanders, the Senators of Ottawa, the Bruins and the Capitals of Washington.
The player, who was three times the first team of stars, won the Norris trophy in 2009 after scoring 19 goals and 50 points in 80 games, with an average of 26:04 minutes of ice time with the Bruins. He also won the Mark-Messier Prize in 2011.
He was inducted at the IIHF renowned temple earlier this year.
Joe Thornton

Joe Thornton, who played for the last time with the Florida Panthers in 2021-2022, ended his NHL career after participating in 1,714 games and collected 1,539 points, including 1,109 aid mentions, distributed between Boston’s Bruins, San Jose Sharks, Toronto Maple Leafs and Panthers.
Recovered first in total by the Bruins in 1997, Thornton participated in six stars games, winning the Hart trophy and the Art-Ross trophy in 2006.
If he did not win the Stanley Cup, on the international level, Thornton is well decorated with the Canada team, winning gold at the Junior World Championships (1997), at the Hockey World Cup (2004, 2016) and Olympic gold in 2010.
Duncan Keith

Duncan Keith was the defensive pillar with the Chicago Blackhawks, who won three Stanley cups in 2010, 2013 and 2015.
The quadruple member of the Star team participated in 1,250 games in their NHL career, collecting 646 points divided between the Blackhawks and the EDMONTON Oilers.
He won the Norris trophy twice as the best NHL defender (2010, 2014) and won the Conn-Smythe trophy as a most useful playoff in the playoffs in 2015. With team Canada, he won two Olympic gold medals (2010, 2014).
