Aukey unveiled the Magfusion 2x, one of the first of its kind to be equipped with an updated Qi2.2 technology which makes it possible to wirelessly recharge compatible devices up to 25 Watts (W), against a maximum of 15 W for its predecessor.
The equipment supplier estimates that the accessory can recharge an iPhone 16 Pro Max from 0 to 100 % in just 2 hours and 15 minutes, while a competing device with Qi2 technology can take up to 2 hours and 40 minutes.
It is also presented as a 2 -in -1 magnetic wireless charger, because it can load two devices at a time (1 on its support and 1 on its basis). However, Aukey does not specify if the two devices can take care simultaneously at full speed.
Consequently, a user could load 2 smartphones at the same time – or do the same if he has a smartphone and accessories such as AirPods or the ONEPLUS Buds Pro 3.
The charger is supposed to deliver a“forte“tension Magsafe-thanks to its adjustable support.
