Performances guaranteed in 4K
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 TI of Gigabyte presented here first takes three fans under its chassis; Design is necessarily more flashy, as in most factory overclocking cards, but it is not necessarily a negative point.
Once well installed in its PC tower, the graphics card offers really convincing performance in 1440p, but also in 4K thanks to the contributions of the GDDR7 (16 GB here) ultra-fast (896 GB/S against 672 GB/S for the previous 4070 Ti Super). In 4K, the RTX 5070 TI is more than 18 % more efficient than the previous model in raterization.
The gains are however slightly lower in ray tracing Compared to the RTX 4070 Ti Super, of the order of 12.6 %. For example, Cyberpunk 2077 revolved around 30 images per second in 1440p during our test, while it is possible to exceed 60 fps on A Plague Tale Requiem.
The magic of DLSS 4 and MFG
DLSS 4 technology is also part of the game and does wonders, but that’s not all: you can also count on the multi-frame generation (MFG), exclusive to RTX 50 graphics cards and capable of adding up to three additional images by image traditionally rendered by the GPU. It unlocks the game in 4K for a GPU which is positioned on the 1440p at high refreshment.
So in Cyberpunk 2077 In 1440p with the activated path options, we exceed 60 FPS with the DLSS in performance mode, until reaching 200 FPS with the MFG 4X. Finally, on the energy consumption and heating side, the RTX 5070 TI remains reasonable: between 250 and 300 W depending on the titles.
