The Pixel Camera application now incorporates a section grouping advice to help you take better photos with your smartphone.
A few weeks ago, in parallel with the deployment of Android 16 on its Pixel smartphones, Google deployed its pixel Drop in June. This update has introduced a number of new features and prepared the field for others whose deployment has been done more progressively. This is the case, for example, of the hub dedicated to photography which has just appeared in the Pixel Camera application.
A photo coach in the pixel camera
Concretely, the camera app for smartphones Pixel now has a coach supposed to help you improve your shots. To access it, simply press the icon appearing a question mark, grafted at the top right of the camera interface. You will then access a page bringing together the different ways of taking photos and shooting videos with the camera of the pixel. This hub thus offers a panorama, astro, portrait, long exposure section, etc.
By selecting one of them, you will have access to examples of shots made by other Pixel owners. But the most interesting is probably the tab how? Because it is within this that Google displays neither a detailed tutorial to help you make a photo with a similar result. You can also access these explanations directly since the overview of one of the examples suggested by Google. You just have to select the icon representing a bulb.
An Open the camera button is also displayed at the bottom of this section to allow you to easily return to the “shooting” mode of the application. Too bad, however, that Google did not plan that this button directly redirects the user to the shooting method concerned.
This new explanation hub integrated into the camera application of Pixel smartphones is available in version 9.9 of the Pixel Camera. The option is also available from Pixel 6 and on all the following Pixel smartphones.
