As such, the president of the Chamber of Agriculture requires “explanations and concrete measures“With DDSV services:”We ask for the immediate judgment of any introduction of living animals on the island, the strict implementation of compulsory quarantines, a reinforced prevention and surveillance plan, and a clear and immediate commitment to the State with Corsican breeders. Our insularity is our only sanitary rampart today. Any negligence would be a serious fault with irreversible consequences. Faced with the threat of the DNC, we call for urgent mobilization of the national authorities.”
